When the ads for the U first started running in the Daily, we were still waxing and pasting the paper together. I fondly remember cutting out the ad, gently guiding it through the waxer, placing it precisely on the page, and slowly caressing out any bubbles, any wrinkles from Mikey's face. He was unknown to me. And I had a crush on .... the girl from the other ad who had her nose all wrinkled-up and was wearing a white(ish) sweater with the sleeves covering her hands... oh she was cute. But really I guess it all came down to her nose. She had a really cute nose. Although, Mikey does wear his nose well.
