beca, i will tell you all about the sirens. first of all, the sirens are tested
on the 2nd tuesday of every month for 1 minute using the steady tone. it will sound for 3 minutes during an actual emergency. the siren model is the federal signal 2001 siren. the bullhorns will spin 360 degrees to provide better sound coverage. during a test, the sirens are sounded at 1:00 pm, there is no all clear siren. do you remember the day the sky turned green a few years ago(back in 2005 i belive). so just keep a eye on the clock, so if it 1 pm, dont be afraid. i thought you should know, there is the tornado sirens, but there is no fire siren. our fire department is a paid fire department, it is not volunteer. did you know that the fire department in downtown ann arbor(? n fith ave)has a button in the
station and one of the employees will turn the sirens on. i think that this is all for now. by beca.

I feel a little weird posting these right before I move *out* of Ann Arbor, but since I'll still be around for parts of the fall I thought I'd pitch these:

La Decima Vittima (The 10th Victim)

The Holy Mountain/El Topo, in case you missed it during this year's film festival.

Black Lizard
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063203/

and if you're up for an epic affair -
Don

I did hear the sirens and I thought "well, what now?" When exactly do they test those things? It seems to have no rhyme or reason. Or maybe I just never pay attention to emergencies.

Anyhow:

I would like to announce the presence of one, Rebecca, to the screening of "The Room" on Saturday the 25th day of August, two thousand and seven. Please reserve her a space in one of the big wicker chairs, because they make her bottom feel nice. Thank you.

hell with writing a check, he should be forced to crawl over broken glass and razor wire on his hands and knees with cash in hand and a bouquet of flowers, and after admitting that what he did was totally scummy beg and plead for forgivness.

Your response should be to take the cash from his bleeding hands, take the flowers, give him a breathtaking smile and say in your sweetest, sexiest voice, "You're a total scumbag and I've told all of my girlfriends about you and since your comments were in the paper it's safe to say that you'll never find a girl to date you in this city. try China." Then start to walk off, turn ad say, "Oh yeah, fuck you." and blow him a kiss.
